EMS Programs



This is a 142-hour program that prepares graduates to function in the pre-hospital environment. Included is instruction in basic life support care of sick and injured persons including airway assessment, communications, documentation, general pharmacology, hemorrhage control, ambulance operations, and splinting of adult, pediatric, and infant patients; and special care of patients exposed to heat, cold, radiation, or contagious disease.


Advanced EMT

Certified Utah EMT’s take their training and certification to a higher level. Employment outlook is better for Advanced EMT’s. Classroom and hands-on training prepares graduates for the state exams. With high pass rates, this is an excellent choice to enhance your skill set and to increase your pay and to climb the ladder of success in the EMS industry. Wilderness First Aid
