This package includes our custom 24-hour online CAPCE CME course and one of EMT Utah’s 16-hour certification courses (ACLS, PALS, AMLS, or PHTLS). By completing all 24 hours of material in the online course and completing the entire 16-hour certification course, all 40 CME hours required by BEMS and NREMT will be satisfied for EMT recertification.

This exclusive refresher course material is offered via the EMT textbook publisher, Jones & Bartlett Learning. The course includes interactive lectures, videos, and activities that contain the most current information in EMS education. Completing these hours online means that this course can be completed at your own pace at any time that works for you.

The certification course portion of this CME package consists of one of four AHA or NAEMT courses offered by EMT Utah that will fulfill your remaining CME requirements. Certification course options include:

All of the above courses require the use of a textbook in class. It is not required to purchase this textbook from EMT Utah; however, it will be available to add to your cart when you check out at registration. If you purchase a book at registration, it will be given to you in class. You may also wait to purchase the book on the first day of class. The certifications for ACLS & PALS are good for two years and PHTLS & AMLS are good for 4 years.
